  • The operator was unable to get the casing to the bottom in the horizontal section of an unconventional well, leaving approximately 1,200 feet (366 meters) of the open hole below the casing shoe – negatively impacting production and the well’s economic viability.

Solution

  • AccessFrac® stimulation service included biodegradable diverting agent to stimulate open-hole section and rescue stranded reserves

Results

  • Successful stimulation of the open-hole section
  • Based on this success, Halliburton awarded additional well stimulation program
